I feel that this picture is a good interpretation of the Great Depression. It shows how many families had to live. Most families lived in houses that were made of wood that they made themselves. The houses were also very small and looked like they were going to fall apart. Families also lived on or near farms so that they could have a chance of making a profit. If you look closely, you can see that their clothes aren't the best either. They also do not have any shoes because they could not afford any. This picture shows how alot of families had to live and the types of conditions they were forced to live under. These reasons are why I picked this picture to represent the Great Depression.
